Day 345 Blind Bay

Looking out from Blind Bay toward Orcas Landing.

We spent a calm day here in Blind Bay.  So much for the weather folks and their 15 to 20 knot winds.  It blew a bit to keep the DuoGen turning and making some power but we still had to run our generator to keep the batteries topped up.  I'd rather run the generator than our engine.  Much more fuel efficient.

I played more with the Garmin chartplotter finding out more things that it does.  I've added some more "windows" on the main screen so we will have more information on what is going on.  It will even tell me the strength of the batteries down below so I will know when they are charging.

Tracy read and stitched and ripped some out after being off a thread.  She's still working on Shepherd's Bush "Softly Spring".  All in good time.

We're off today for Deer Harbor for some gasoline for the generator and to throw out the trash we have amassed plus a pump out and then on to Reid Harbor for the night.

We're not sure how long our wireless will continue so stay tuned.
